Okay, so the Daily Republic has moved to a pay site. One has to shell out fifty bucks a year to learn about the amazing happenings in Fairfield, CA. Yeah, right. Being that I am the author and owner of The Other Side column, I've created this blog for cheapskates...uh...excuse me...for valued readers who don't subscribe to the DR to read my weekly musings.
