Kick Their Ass 2
Now I don't mean parents should literally kick their kids' ass, though some of them definitely could use a boot up in their backside. But a lot of parents need that boot in the ass, too. These days people are too afraid to get involved in they see an out of control child in public. And i know why. They're afraid of some ignorant, wild-eyed parent screaming, "Don't you tell me how to raise my child!!!!" Well, somebody needs to.
Now look, don't get it twisted. Everyone has the right to raise their child the way they see fit as long as its not harmful to the child. But if you're going to let your child run around a restaurant, that's not acceptable. If I'm at a buffet with a kid running around, I may be carrying a plate of hot food that I might spill on Jr. if he runs into me. Then his parents are going to be mad at me. It's not only a home training, etiquette issue. Its a safety issue.
Went out for breakfast a while ago and there were two kids sitting at a table behind ours who were having a farting contest while their mother gabbed on her cell phone. I was ready to stick that cell phone up her ass.
When parents let their kids run roughshod over them when they're small, they can't hope to control them when they're teens. Not a chance. If you haven't taught a child manners, respect, decency as a child, you're not going to be able to get through to them as a teen. This isn'r rocket science. This is reality.
These young punks and wannabe gang bangers you see walking around wreaking havoc didn't suddenly turn that way. They didn't go from being straight A students and Eagle Scouts to being disrespectful, punk criminals. There's a consequence to not disciplining your children. There's a consequence to society, not just to them and you. Everyone pays.
What is up with these parents? Why have these kids if you're not going to do your duty and raise them right?
As my brother Tony says, you'll mind someone. You'll find out that you're going to mind someone. If you don't mind your parents, there will be principals, teachers, probation officers, judges, police officers and prison guards who might get your attention. You will end up minding someone.
If you've got out of control children who don't listen to you now, then you've got gigantic problems ahead of you. Massive. And a lot of heartache. Do the work now and make them better people later.
I'm just telling you like it is.
